Course outline:
Morning – Statistical analysis using Stata and Mata
Afternoon – Statisical analysis techniques with R

Course structure:

45-60 minute lecture style session, followed by 1hr practical lab session enabling you to play around with the software/ tools and techniques, ending with a 15-30 minute discussion to help you think about applying it to your own work.

Audience:

This course is suitable for researchers with a basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualisation techniques, but who want and need to improve their skills in Stata and R.
