Sir Brandon Gough Lecture Theatre, Enterprise Centre, UEA

Join Professor Beth Neil as she gives an inaugural lecture as part of the Social Work Anniversary Lecture series at the University of East Anglia.

Finding answers to the common questions “Where have I come from?” and “Who am I now?” can be complicated for adopted young people. In this lecture Beth will explore how adopted teenagers and young adults seek answers to these questions. She will explain the factors that can help young people achieve a cohesive sense of self as an adopted person, and the reasons why other young people experience frustration and confusion about their identity.
