As part of this year’s ESRC Festival of Social Science, we are partnering with the Catalyst Project to bring you an event on how to improve your business by learning how to evaluate it!
In this workshop you will learn how to enhance your practices and processes through effective evaluations. Social science researchers with experience of conducting practical evaluations will discuss why evaluation is valuable, and how you can use it to deliver better products and services.
You will hear about techniques for undertaking evaluations that will really inform practice, drawing on examples of how evaluation has been used within different organisations across different sectors.
You will have the chance to participate in a simulated evaluation exercise.
The event will be led by Jim Vine, Research Fellow at Business and Local Government Data Research Centre, and Kakia Chatsiou, Senior Research Officer at Catalyst Project.
This event took place on Thursday 9 November. The speaker presentations are available to download.
