The University of East Anglia would like to welcome you to the 2016 Actuarial Teachers’ and Researchers’ Conference which is being held on 4th and 5th July 2016. The annual two-day event provides a forum for the exchange of the latest research ideas in Actuarial science and related areas. The overarching theme of “Bridging the Gap between Academia and Industry” aims to facilitate the discussion between academics and practitioners and to highlight the mutually beneficial interdependence between these two worlds. The 2016 ATRC will also offer the opportunity for an update on recent, UK-wide developments on Actuarial Education and Strategy.
The themes on the 4th of July will be of interest to Life, Pensions, Long-term care and Health actuaries. The confirmed speakers are:

The 5th of July will include talks on General insurance, Finance, novel analytical techniques, and also a session organised by IFoA on actuarial research and education, Education update from IFoA and Research update from IFoA. The confirmed speakers are:

- Colm Fitzgerald(University College Dublin)
